I have a XSX and I was thinking to grab a PS5 slim, but I’m not really sure as it doesn’t look to have that many exclusives games (that I’m interested in at least).
The exclusives I’m interested in are FFXVI, Horizon, the last of us and god of war; no Spider-Man or super hero games. I also like that I can buy lots of VNs (like steins gate)
A lot of the exclusive are also coming to PC so it might be worth looking at that. In my opinion the more games the better so if you can afford it go for it! Hate their controller though, so uncomfortable.
I think you answered your own question. Is it worth it for you if you “just” use it for what you mention? I don’t mean to be rude, it seems that you have a very clear idea of what you can and can’t do with it.
Well, if you have either Xbox or PS, the only point of getting the other machine is for exclusives. If you think PS exclusive are worth the price then go for it. Personally, I think PS first party games are very good, but everyone has a different taste, so only you can answer if it’s worth for you or not.
I have a PS5, and want to get Xbox for the exclusives. Not for the current ones, but mainly because Xbox got Bethesda, Obsidian and inXile. For me, they are worth the cost of buying another console.
P.S: If you do get PS5, don’t ignore Spider-man just because it’s a super-hero game, do give it a try at least once. It’s a really good game.
If it has things you want to play sure. You’ll have to decide if it’s worth it. The controller is definitely better in my opinion.
I personally find it’s worth it. Don’t forget Baldur’s Gate 3 which is coming for the Xbox eventually but we don’t know when.
There are also titles like Hogwart’s Legacy which have PS exclusive content, although the 1 year timer on that exclusivity is about to expire.
When a cross platform game comes out, I like having the option of choosing the best available platform.
I really don’t like to fragment my library so I would buy any non esclusive for the Xbox.
Also, BG3 should come out tomorrow
I think so yeah. Also due to its larger market share most games are often optimized for PS5, and its dual sense controller is nice too although with shitty battery life.
If you can get it for $350 or less then its a steal.
Ps5 is worth it for demons souls remake alone. Plus whatever bluepoint studios is cooking up next. Not that it’s for everyone but it’s a hell of a game.
