I’m surprised teams are so high on him, he has some dirt in his background, his size isn’t that spectacular, he didn’t dominate in college The G-League. How is he so highly regarded?

    Just had his best game, maybe he will be better starting now. But yeah if he averages hold up, this is bust territory. Tho ofc still only a rookie and all

    Compared to Chet and Wemby yeah they are making all the rookies look bad, but FRP are generally a crapshoot. You never know how a teenager/20-something is going to adapt to NBA game and NBA life.

    You draft for potential and hope your coaching staff knows how to develop talent. Scoot was probably a step or two faster than everyone in highschool. Now everyone is about the same speed, so hes got to figure outhow to adapt his game.
