Just bought a 2020 X5 40i X drive as a CPO from a dealership. Options include metallic black paint, Harmon Kardon, comfort, remote start, AWD.

21k miles. Clean Carfax

Price was listed at $40,899. Was able to get it to $38.8k including $500 for financing through BMW (they were able to match the best rate I found)

It’s been really tough as I’ve found most dealers barely budge on negotiating nowadays.

How did I fair?

You did amazing. I’ve been in the market for 20-2022 MY X5’s and honestly I’ve been seeing them north of $45k for (roughly) the same package.

Hopefully this means the used luxury SUV market is returning to normal.

Thats a mega deal. How many miles on it? I got my 2020 X5 xdrive 40i at 47K. It has all the features you listed plus driving pro package and self parking. And had 17k miles on the car.

My dad picked up a ‘21 CPO X5 that was pretty well equipped (M Sport, Premium, Driver Assistance Pro, Parking assistance) and 37k miles for 51k last month. So yeah you definitely got a great deal I’d say
