Currently using a Logitech f cloud. Love it, but gen doesn’t have all games (epic and steam use).

I can get a deck for that price. Will that be a good deal, knowing that a 64gb model can be had new for $350?

Planning on playing handheld and on tv (with Xbox controllers).

The 500Gb version is refurbished around 380 which basically means like new. So up to you if the 100 discount is worth the downgrade. Also I realise that the refurbished one is often sold out so you’ll have to be fast to get one.

It’s only a little bit of a deal compared to a 256GB refurbished ($319) which I would say is the closest comparison. But it’s available, which refurbished often isn’t. If you trust it to be in good condition I’d say it’s a reasonable price especially with upgraded storage.

Yeah, I calculated all (new and old and extra storage). The 64gb refurb would be the equivalent (price wise, including taxes ans all). But I keep looking and there are no refurbished available.

What do you mean? I only have the free games on epic. I just wanted to be able to play most games (not just game ones). Maybe the Logitech is still a better deal (to keep) for now (including the $8.33/month I pay)?

There is a very easy way to install epic games launcher through an app called Heroic, then add your epic games to steam after installing them so you can play them through Steam OS it’s incredibly simple, no tinkering at all I’m a first time Deck user since yesterday and it wasn’t hard at all to get it working
