I was going to replace my tensioner pulley but I saw that I needed a specialty socket. I’ve researched online for other ways to get the bolt out and saw that a couple people used vice grip pliers. Any thoughts?
The engine is a 1zz-fe on a 2002 Toyota Celica
I’m sure there are, but personally, I am a fan of “right tool for the job”. It generally works better than something that might do it, might also destroy the piece and you end up using a drill and thread repair kits before its done 2 weeks later.
