Made a post the other day about buying my wife a oled 1TB and now I’m trying to decided on if I should go with the official dock or some of the others I have seen. Need some input

I don’t use a dock perse, I use an Anker 7-in-1 hub and a simple stand. I was considering buying the official dock, but so far my solution works just as well, so for now I’ll just leave it be.

Been using the official one for my 512gb LCD. It also works on my LE 1tb OLED.

I use the official dock. Having the support from valve and the fact the firmware can be upgraded is a huge plus.

Some $18 dock that I found on Amazon that barely met spec. I’ll get another one eventually but it’s not going to go to waste.

JSAUX 5-in1 Dock. Plenty enough USB for me, and it does the job well enough. Haven’t come across any issues. Originally thought audio issues were the dock, but it was the LCD Deck itself.

I tried using a Lenovo for quite som time and boy was it hit and miss. It didnt work for the longest time and when it did no audio would play via the TV.

Then I gave a cheap €18 Ugreen dock from Amazon a shot and so far it’s working flawlessly.

Samsung DeX Station from 2017, one of the first to have USB PD and dp alt mode support. It has USB 2 ports but I don’t have any usb 3 reqs so it works for me.

The old shitty jsaux usb 2.0 dock until recently, which started crapping out on me. Now I’m using the 100w benzacap aluminium dock.
