Are they both the same controller? I’ve had issues with it when trying to connect 2 different (brand) controllers.

My previous 3 laptops are Clevo barebones, build to specification by XNB Computers a small family company that work out of the Netherlands.
I ordered a FW16 as a replacement. Mostly because my husband really wants to play with it, hardware. ^^
Probably not, since to get the deck in SK you need to use Komodo to order it. Since the OLED has just come out, it’ll take a while to be available in store there or if at all.
Check the battery life in desktop mode and see at what level it is.
If it’s low there you’ll probably need a replacement. You can change the battery but it’s one of the more harder things to fix on the Steam Deck.
If it’s high, try power cycling the deck a few times.
Don’t you have any warranty from Gamestop? If it’s refurbished the battery should be good.
Works like a charm! I always use my Dualsense when docked or when I’m too lazy too hold the deck ^^.
I played those games just fine on the deck through Steam. Yeah it says it’ll load Uplay but Ubisoft Connect will load instead, it may take a while.
I don’t play them via desktop mode, just from my library.
You could try to logon to Ubisoft Connect through desktop, go back to your library and launch it. I do this on PC and it saves me a lot of time.
I second “Gone Home”, “Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture” and “What Remains of Edith Finch”. But they are 1st pov.
All of them, I’m working through them on the deck myself. The run and work perfectly.
The only thing is, that the older ones don’t have cloud saves so you’ll have to stick to the device you started at.
I’m a console gamer with a Steamdeck. I bought it specifically for going on holiday. My kushand and I usually rent a place for the summer and before I would drag my PS4 with me and he would bring his PC setup so we could play games.
We use the Steamdecks now, it’s way more portable and you only need a few things to hook it up to a larger screen. Even when you bring a screen, it still saves a lot of space.
I knew beforehand I wouldn’t use it THAT much so that isn’t a problem for me. Husband uses his deck way more than he thought he would, but he’s a PC player.
I also use it when I have some hours to kill at work while waiting for an appointment.
I love playing Timberborn when I’m feeling anxious. The cute beaver animations always make me happy and less anxious.
I don’t use a dock perse, I use an Anker 7-in-1 hub and a simple stand. I was considering buying the official dock, but so far my solution works just as well, so for now I’ll just leave it be.
