I know it sounds silly but what you really do ? Cause for me personally when i turn on defog itself as usual the car basically blow cold ac air on windows and most of the times it just doesnt work that good. And i tested it on multiple cars. I tried just setting the car the blow outside air with no ac and that kinda works better. And recently i actually turned on heater to blow on windows and specially with ac on at the same time with heater and it works much better
Fan high. Heat on. Windshield.
A/C+max heat.
Don’t forget to clean your windows. I find they fog up much more easily when they haven’t been cleaned in a while. Maybe something to do with the film that builds up on it gives moisture a place to hold on to.
Defroster, heat and A/C on. Try and keep your mats clear of ice and snow to keep it from repeating. RainX makes an anti fog spray for the inside windows, it’s pretty inexpensive and will help.
Take a sock and fill it with cat litter, then put it where your dash meets front window. The cat litter will help absorb excess moisture preventing your windows from fogging up. Hope this helps. =)
AC on with heat.
Hot, dry air does the best. Oh and RainX anti fog long before you get to that point.
Defrost with hot air. When the defroster is on it automatically runs the AC compressor. That dries the air. Having it on hot air also dries the air further.
