    Why do you get joy from Toyota still using a lousy 4-cylinder that gets the same MPG as their V6?

      Because it’s closely related to the 3rz-fe in my first car. An engine that does nothing but serve me well, and was the best possible engine to learn semi-advanced skills doing maintenance on. The 2TR is continues that legacy, so I’ll root for it.

      Also it does get slightly better fuel economy than even the modern V6 GR engine.
