I purchased a brand new 2023 cx 30 about 3 months ago.

But in the last few days, every time I tried to start the car, the pedal would not go down and I had to jump-start it.

I presumed there was something wrong with the battery and took it to the dealer today, they did a diagnostic and found nothing wrong.

They said if they don’t find a problem, I have to pay 200 in diagnostic fees.

Now I am stuck with a car that can stop working at any second and 200 debt owed to the dealership. Any advice on what I should do? Help :(

If the dealer is unwilling to help with the battery, call Mazda customer service hotline. They will get the dealer and district service manager involved if needed.

Also ask for a print out from their battery tester. If they can’t provide that then go to another dealer. They aren’t certified to do warranty work. It’s mandatory for Mazda dealers to provide this.

This… A dealer wasn’t sending me the nav card that they forgot to put in my car. So I called customer service they got in touch with the sales manager for me and I got the nav card in less then a week.
