Despite how terrible Burnley and Sheffield United have been so far this season, what’s keeping those two managers in their jobs? At least Luton have managed to adjust to the premier league and are now getting results after a poor start

New manager doesn’t garuntee success. Both clubs have got something good going on in terms of what managers have built. Problem here is how cut of from rest of EFL prem is.
When teams are spending £100mil+ each window, how can any EFL club compete. IMO system needs to change, otherwise, top 10 prem might as well just have a super league and play each other 4 times a season, as their light years ahead of rest of country, even bottom half of prem.
It’s this. Look at the amount Forest spent and everyone said they’d be relegated yet it’s increasingly looking like this might be the approach that works if you want to stay in the Premier League after coming up.
The gap between the teams who finish 12-16th in the Premier League and the top of the Championship has never been greater.
