If GM used the extra space created by omitting a gas motor to make the truck shorter instead of longer it would be a better hit with homeowners. The thing does not fit in my garage very well. I also cringe at the thought of driving something that decreases the visibility of children and pedestrians. Rivian hit the size right for a something I would want in my driveway. Now if someone can offer one in 2wd and a little more toned down on the features…

I’m a homeowner. My trucks fit in my 32’ deep garage just fine.
That’s certainly a garage. The average garage depth is 22 feet according to Google.
