0.1 less xG per game in exchange for 0.3 less xGA per game is an amazing exchange over the course of a season. I appreciate wanting swashbuckling attacking but the switch up so far has been 100% worth it.
Plus, that’s with our starting front three being able to play barely any games so far and no suitable left 8. We get that left 8 in January… oh boy.
It’s also with a huge number of gaffes from our keepers leading to some high xG. That ramsdale error yesterday must have been like .5-.7 alone. Without those our xG would be half a goal a game.
