Man y’all are selling your used decks for like half what you paid, that’s insane. Why not just keep it and buy an OLED deck anyway? You can’t come up with the extra $275-$300 without taking a huge loss on the LCD deck?

Why would I keep both? I can only play one at a time and one is significantly better than the other.

If I’m gonna play, it will be on the OLED Deck and not the LCD version. The older model will just collect dust. Why keep the old one when u can fund half the new one? It’s like upgrading ur GPU basically.

Is it not better to get it to a loving home than a corner where it will sit and collect dust? Getting a few hundred bucks in return is just the icing on the cake.

To each their own and all, I just like having redundancy of hardware. Situations like you’re hanging out with friends or family and you want to play multi-player games, or you want to let your kid play some games, or you have to RMA your deck due to some issue, you’d have a backup to play while you wait for your new one. To me all of that is worth more than what I would save selling my OG deck to buy an OLED model.
