Quick question. I am going to replace the positive battery cable on my 2006 6cyl non-hyb (I think it’s not allowing enough power to the starter and it won’t crank. I’ve ruled out everything else). The cable on the positive terminal connects to the starter with a weird attachment piece; it has 2 little ears that wrap over the starter housing a bit. Do I need to use that specific piece or can I use a standard run of the mill battery cable and secure it to the starter with the same nut that’s there? Any advice would be helpful!
