Hello ! I have quite a beefy rig and use to play on a 4K LG monitor.

I wanted to try to stream from my PC to my OLED Deck to try games too difficult to run on it but the colours are washed out and the fonts are tiny. I have no HDR enabled on my desktop pc so I can’t explain what is happening.

Do you have the same issue ?

    If you’re using Steam Remote Play it’s a known issue with SteamOS 3.5 (colors appearing washed out /darker)

    From what I’ve read, your options are:

    • Disable hardware encoding (or decoding, people said either)

    • Use Steam Remote Play from desktop mode

    • Use something else, Steam Remote Play is subpar these days

      Yes I thought using the native app would be the best way, weird they didn’t upgrade the whole remote play when the deck came around
