I recently bought a set of 4 used rims for my new winter tires. When I went to my trusted mechanic, he said that the rims did not fit on my 2019 Forster and the bolt pattern was likely off. However, the bolt pattern is a dead match. Is there another measurement I should be aware of? What is likely the error here with the fit? See the necessary info below.

  • The used rims are 17" sport aluminum alloy rims. 5x114.3
    • See the link on tire rack.
    • Interestingly their website says it’s not a fit for my Forster but the rep doesn’t know why.
  • - The used rims were previously on a 2012 Ford Fusion 17" 5x114.3
  • - I drive a 2019 Subaru Forester bolt pattern 17" 5x114.3
