Hello,

I was thinking of getting a $100 Stanley J5C09D Jumper but realized that I really don’t need one of that strength lol they’re also quite heavy and I’d like to travel lighter if possible. I also heard that combo packs kinda suck (and that if I buy one, to use a lead acid battery model) and die within some years. Any truth to this? If combo packs are okay, im looking at the Stanley FATMAX J7CS, $76.

I already chose a tire compressor but yeah, I just need a jump starter for emergencies.

If you may need to start really cold engine you need powerful jump starter. Especially if it was kept in the cold too. So what are the coldest needed use temperatures?

I’ll be moving next year and the lowest temps I’ll see are about 20 F, so a bit below freezing.

I’m honestly thinking of just sticking with cables as I don’t plan to go anywhere remote… but not having to interact with anyone/wait is appealing
