The Caymans and 911s aren’t nearly as practical as an economy based hatchback. Don’t forget that maintenance cost easily doubles and you’ll be out of warranty. A PDK rebuild will financially break if you if it was a stretch purchase. If I only could have one car, 9 times out of 10, I’d take the Civic.
PDK in the 718 and 911 are surprisingly reliable and stout. Very rare they’ll need a rebuild ever if not abused.
