My dad owns an FK8 Type R, and so I have quite a bit experience being in it, and I just really can’t get over how much they calmed down the styling. The old Type R was just ridiculous looking, which was awesome, the new Type R looks like a Civic with a bolted on wing.
Isn’t that almost every Type R every before FK8 and the weird hatch in the 2010s. The FG chassis literally was a body kit over a regular civic.
Yes, but still, I loved that just 1 car just looked absolutely ridiculous without going up to something like a 1LE camarom
New one looks way better imo. Old one looked like a little kid’s car.
I’m the opposite. Don’t mind the new one but wouldn’t swap out my fk8.
