Not that we really have a choice, but we’re leaning on two injury prone players a little too much for our defensive depth this season

Either one picks up a knock or niggles and things could quickly snowball so just pray that doesn’t happen

Can’t deny international break can be a good thing when injuries pile up. Sure they contribute to it but clubs play a lot too including cup competitions and preseason

Has there ever been a gunner of indian heritage?

There was a time when we used to buy aisian players to boost interest.

Now we have Tomi, a bonafide player in the squad.

Im thinking itbwould be nice to have someone who looks like me wear the shirt.

Even if its an Asano loan FC type deal it would be cool to have representation.

With Partey and elnenny out going, in the summer maybe we need to look at that continent too.

Ik it should be all about talent but its nice to know that the club has an interest in the non typical white/english speaking UK supporter.

The deal for Pepe was shady as fuck, do you think AFC have been investigated for that fully?

I think it helps that Kroenkes were proactive and launched a internal investigaton by delegating Tim Lewis to do It.

The fact that it also caused a board overhaul with Sanllehi leaving is telling that the Pepe deal was about individuals who tried to direct a part of clubs money to their pockets.

It’s not about us gaining an unfair advantage against other clubs.

          Fair enough.

          FFP is a pistake imho.

Are there any ethics rules etc that all clubs must abide?

Like how all agents must be registered.

There could be some framework to ensure abu daby can’t promise players hotels etc to manage minimise their wage bills.

Maybe something to prevent a monopoly on young talent Only playing with clubs owned by the same consortium.

Large transfer fees could be used to manage FFP rules.

Even the ammortisation of contracts was abused by chelski.

There’s only one thing that might work once for all. A new currency only for transfers, loans and agent’s fees cap. Everything transfer related. Since there’ll a currency with very low liquidiity

Clubs need to exchange their currencies on specific periods. Summer and Winter for that matter, even better once per 2 seasons

All exchanges must be public revealed with all its history.

It’s basically a deliberate low liquidiity model stock market.

Caught a late flight from NY to london, hoping to snag a spare for the match. I will prob fall asleep before the third goal goes in. If you see me snore at the match just insert a beer into my hand and I’m good as new

Ok we don’t really know what big brain Mik wants but between Timber and Tomi where would you like to seem them primarily? Both were great at LB but only one of them can be in rotation because we have Zinchenko. Tomi looks so much better on the left that I’d rather we move Timber back to right to rotate with White

Timber is just better, more confidence, press resistance, can turn on the ball which adds to how dangerous he could be driving forward. Only thing Tomi is better at is aerially really, or if we need a CCB (not a knock on tomi, Timber is just serious)

Is tomorrow a Jorginho-Rice game or a Rice-Havertz game? Assuming Odegaard and Jesus are both starting

I’d start the Rice Havertz Ode midfield. I’d also start Tomi at LB as Brentford will look to hit the channels and will be a threat on set pieces too. Need the height and pace there.

I think Man United are in a lot of trouble if they don’t win against Everton tomorrow, they are definitely not getting anything from Galatsaray and Newcastle both away and then it’s chelsea and Bournemouth at home and Liverpool away.

I see them getting a win only in Bournemouth fixture.

Rashford is under the gun in a big way. He is the kind of guy to sping to life in the NC game and go on a hot streak
