I found a round brown filter in my driveway when I drove back home after running errands.
Is there any chance this thing fell off my car?
I have a mechanic appointment booked next week for regular service and wonder if I’m safe just driving around until then.
What kind of air filter does your vehicle use?
I had a look at the user manual and was able to confirm via YouTube video that the HRV filter is very different. Flat and rectangular. What I found seems to be a garden variety shop vac filter.
Flat rectangular filters are the most common on cars,
I can’t know for certain, but judging by the comment OP posted, I don’t think they’re in a position to say.
That, and I doubt they’ve gone around modding
