I like your screen better…like i have in my MY19 X3. Does anyone know DEFINITIVELY if ID6 can be upgraded to ID7, or is additional/different hardware needed?

I only have experience with iDrive 8 but compared to the infotainments of Mercedes and Tesla, iDrive 8 sucks ass

Definitely not, I think most of us prefer this layout. The type of people who like the big screens are the modern day equivalent of people who found excessively gaudy gold decor (like at the trump hotels) to be classy

Honestly people give the new screens shit based on design, but I think this 5 series interior won’t age well. Look at how the screen is just tacked on without any thought. It doesn’t compliment the rest of the dash in any way.
On the other hand, no physical climate controls is stupid though.
Idrive 8 is literally just tacked on as well…
I’m sure you are not the only one, but a picture with way less contrast would help show off the interior you prefer.
No I despise the huge screens. I like real guages analog goes better in a car for my preference.

I still prefer the round dials and simple interiors. Basically anything from the E90/F10 era and before.
Owned the f90 m5 comp with the round dials just before the lci came out with the new speedo…horrible
Huh. The E30 318i I used to own and the E34 M5 I currently own both had wonderful round dials. Then again I’m probably the old man shouting at clouds here lol.
might’ve misunderstood me…but I was trying to say the round dials looked the best. Classy and easier to read imo.

Thing about an all in one display is that if it’s going to go, it’s all going to be gone and it’s going to need replacing since you need the driver display. Can be an issue if not done properly.
