A lot of people hate on “NPC” colors like white, black, grey, and I’ve even heard blue.

I think there’s nothing more “NPC” than to pick a different (and sometimes ugly) color just for the sake of being different. It reeks of “I need to feel special”. If you love a specific yellow or green on your car that’s great but if you’re just doing it to avoid having an “NPC” color, you’re the NPC.

I know this post will be unpopular because the r/cars take is “grey bad!” so I expect a lot of downvotes by the “actually my Civic is orange because I’m just so exciting as a person totally not boring!” crowd

White is my preferred color, looks good, hides most dirt, blends in. Dark metallic grey/silver is my second favorite.

With that said if I ever own a dedicated weekend car it will hopefully be yellow or orange.
