I’m getting lag when using a controller while docked. It doesn’t respond right away. I’m using xbox controller by the way. Is there something to be done here?

I switched to a DualSense because Sony provides native Linux drivers. It seemed to work better.

Same. I have no idea why my X1X controller lags on some Steam Deck games, but not all of them. But now that you mention it, I only use a controller when the Deck is docked and displayed on the TV. Maybe it’s a problem with our TV settings and not the controller itself…

I didn’t know that the controllers need to be updated. I’m updating now.

First try playing with a controller undocked to make sure it’s not just your tv or the tv’s settings causing the lag. After that update the controllers firmware.

What controller? Some of the old xbox controllers have serious lag and I don’t think it’s fixable
