Hey all, so I have a 2003 Highlander with the thirsty-for-oil 4 cylinder. It burns enough for me to add a quart of oil about every 300 miles or so.
I’m due for an oil change, I do it every 3000 miles because it’s a 200k mile car. I’m wondering if I should even change the oil since it’s always topped off with new stuff, or if I should just change the filter and not worry about the oil.
Any advice is appreciated.
Change it anyway.
And get the 2AZ-FE overhaul kit. From the CSP ZE7
Eyy I have a 2AZ-FE too in my Camry. Very slowly burning that midnight oil lol
i reset trip A every 600 miles and top up. if you can time it correctly itd be the next oil change when you need to top up so you dont waste some oil.
Too bad that Toyota didn’t have a campaign to fix it like the newer models
03 was covered
does the CSP have an expiration date or limit on the model year/mileage?
Hang on here:
primary coverage until 31 October 2016 unlimited miles
Secondary coverage 10 years from Date of First Use (DOFU) OR 150k miles whichever is EARLIER
