Never liked Crymar, rolling and crying when someone touches him. Crying to the ref to give cards. Trying to fight even though he is the smallest and slimmest guy on the pitch. Disgusting a big middlefinger to Football enjoyers.

Before Neymar Brazil was sending their 2nd squad to the Copa America and win it after wining 3-0 over Argentina. During Neymar time: Brazil become 2nd best team in South America. In his era Argentina managed to reach finals in a WC in Brazil and win a WC out of the continent. I would say that is a very big failure.

In my opinion Brazil at any time should be the best team in the world and their 2nd squad the 2nd best team in the world. At it was like that in the past. Now they hold Neymar’s shirt when he is injured as if he is dead or something.

I will remember him as one of the best players of this generation. Could’ve done better? Guess so, but people are always too harsh on him.

He’s always going to be a marmite footballer with his attitude/potential vs what he’s achieved. I think we should all appreciate the type of player he is with the flair and individual skill and brilliance he often does throughout a 90 minute match. We’re in a generation where individualism seems to almost be coached out for the style of play so for that alone Neymar should be highly regarded.

Regardless of how is career became in the latter stages, he’ll always be one of the goats in my books. After Ronaldinho and Kaka, he was the only player who showed the same Brazilian flair and techniques, especially during his time in Santos. The dude’s career till 29 is still better than an average player’s entire career.

Neymar had all the potential to be on the same level as Ronaldo and Messi but he gave it all up for partying especially with his sister. He also refuses to take care of his body seriously.

So no I reject your appreciation post there’s nothing to appreciate from Neymar and his rolling around on the ground and his constant let downs in big games and especially missing them intentionally to go party

Neymar had bags of potential and if wasn’t for injury and if he had that same mentality like Messi or Ronaldo, he could have achieved so much more and cemented himself amongst the all time greats.
