Auto Light Inoperative Error

Hi, I have a W204 2008 c180 and the “auto lights inoperative” error comes up.

I have changed to new rain-light sensors as many old forums and youtube videos have recommended I do, but the error still comes out. Sometimes, the rain sensor still works, so at this point I’m not sure if it’s a connection issue (or what I’m not sure too) or a software issue.

Any advise?

Have you hooked up a scanner that can access the SAM modules, sensors, OCP and such?
