I have a friend like this and I think it’s a bit strange. I’m neutral so I’ll watch any game, I particularly like watching good teams play each other.

I watch every game of my own team, in person or on TV. Rarely if ever watch any other team, unless I happen to be out and it’s on in a pub or something. I’ve zero interest, especially if it’s two players/teams I don’t like. I do watch every game of the World Cup/Euros because my country rarely qualifies, so it’s easier to switch my brain off and enjoy it as a spectacle.

You do you and all that but I find it really weird people who watch club football as neutrals. Half the fun for me is the tribal nature of it all.

Watch my team mainly but still love football in general so watch a bit of all leagues when they’re on.

Supporting Ac Milan these past 2 seasons has been grueling so I’ve branched out a bit from only watching their games. Mostly Serie A games.

No, that’d be weird. Especially when I lived in the UK, I’d watch whatever match was on, didn’t really get a choice with the stupid ass laws there.

Even now though, why would I restrict myself to 1 team? I watch football that’s on at the time I want to watch it. I’ll probably try watching my new local team one day toow maybe.

For me i feel the game is boring if you don’t support any of the two sides or i should say whenever the team you are supporting concedes/is about to concede/score/about to score gives a scene of thrill which seems to be absent whilst being a neutral

Every game whenever I can I have an absolute love for just watching football whether it’s UCL prem or even Brazilian and Argentinian leagues. However I refuse to watch England play in friendlies

I am a barca and city fan , i exclusively watch them in their respective league.

I would sometimes watch a European match as a neutral. The only league that i casually watch or keep a track of is Bundesliga because the young lads pressing high is just exciting.

I pretty much only watch Udinese games in full but if there’s an important match up other than us or a game I bet on I watch that too :)

I think it’s good to watch different leagues and matches from opposing teams. Gives you an idea of how they’re playing and you see some good highlights

Yep. Having stakes and veing invested adds excitement. Neutral football is good for highlights and clip shows, but I’ve got better things to do than spend 2 hours watching teams I’m not invested in.
