USA seems inevitable at some point. If they really decide to throw money at it, they could probably do it within a generation.

I watch every game of my own team, in person or on TV. Rarely if ever watch any other team, unless I happen to be out and it’s on in a pub or something. I’ve zero interest, especially if it’s two players/teams I don’t like. I do watch every game of the World Cup/Euros because my country rarely qualifies, so it’s easier to switch my brain off and enjoy it as a spectacle.
You do you and all that but I find it really weird people who watch club football as neutrals. Half the fun for me is the tribal nature of it all.
It was a relatively small period but the end of 95/96 when Cantona was back from his ban. United won the double Double and in a large part was due to the back end of the season, where every game seemed to be 1-0 or 1-1 and Cantona scoring each time.
Given that was a team with Cole, Giggs, Keane, Beckham, Scholes etc, that’s some going.
I’ve done the in with the home fans as an away fan thing a few times. Just be neutral at all times. Face included. Unless you’re acting like an idiot, you’ll be fine.
