Hi everyone, I’m currently having issue with my mitsubishi mirage g4. It blows slightly colder air from the passenger side. The blend door seems working fine. I removed the glove box and I can see the actual door moving up and down.
I’ve also tried to reset the battery and didn’t help.
I’ve noticed that when the AC option is on works hot on driver side only. If I use “normal” air it works but it’s still slightly colder on the passenger side.
Also, during the summer I remember that at times the AC took several minutes to blow cold air and usually it started to work when I was driving long distances or on the highway.
Any idea is welcomed.
If you don’t have split temp controls driver and passenger side, you are most likely low on refrigerant. If the a/c system is low it but still working it can make only part of the evaporator core get cold and make only half the vents blow cool air. Best of lick!!
