To get the all the stuff I want (AWD), the price as he in this video quoted would be $76, 000. That’s about the cost of a similarly outfitted Rivian.

I’d just buy the Rivian R1T.

having a 15A outlet in the back is pretty nice. The 120V outlets I seen in most normal non-trucks usually aren’t capable of much more than charging a laptop. You actually could run a microwave or toaster off of this.

Overall, a lot of really smart design decisions on this one.

I honestly don’t understand why people shy away from minivans and decide to get a “SUV” to do minivan things. Its essentially a minivan with less cool doors.

And if you’re jumping out with 3-5 kids, no one is going to look at you any differently compared to a minivan driver. You’re not fooling anyone. Lol

I am waiting for an electric personal bus with 6 rows. Me and my wife, the 4 kids, their 8 grandparents, and room for a couple of hobos we’ll surely pick up on our way to disney.

It’s very odd to think an actual minivan (the ID Buzz) is going to lap this thing performance wise while being shorter and probably having more cargo space.

I don’t understand this trend of sticking to SUV design language just to make something that’s worse at a task than minivans on every level.

it’s interesting to see how Doug’s reviews have evolved over time. He’s really embracing the electric vehicle movement now.
