Did you reach academy levels l or high

I thought of this question because I’ve one of dad’s "oh I could played pro if it wasn’t for my shit knees

Rangers youth academy w/ mate. I never lasted long at all, my friend a while longer but still. Moved to a pretty prestigious youth team but my age group folded and most players moved to there rival team who was also really good but I never. My other mate was in hearts pro youth one went from st Johnston to Hamilton. A lot of friends played for Falkirk at various levels and I did play in there stadium a few times. The difference in ‘pros’ and not wasn’t super apparent until in a game scenario, it’s mostly just they don’t make silly mistakes, don’t go far out position and are very efficient in how they run/energy levels.

I trained twice a week with an old queen of the south striker and occasionally with Hibernian old backup keeper (big stuff I know). A few I played with went on to play with good teams one for Hamilton , st Johnston maybe was the best. I went quite far for high school cup too. I gave up because of bouncing between teams and my family never rlly supported it, but I’m still young adult and I’ve been playing more again. I was never stand out compared to the others who ‘made it’ but I played fullback so it’s not easy to be seen. The ones who made it started very very young and the physicality difference is really apparent and work ethic too

Ik it’s Reddit and anyone can say anything but honestly I never made it that high, I’m still really decent & would play again.
