I need to repair the transmission control module on my 2010 Mazda 3i, but because it’s on a countrywide backorder, I guess I’ll have to get a reconditioned TCM. particularly component #LF8M-18-9E1H. Does anyone know of any trustworthy businesses that carry out this kind of work?
Upfix does exactly what you are talking about. They offer a repair and return service and they are exceptional. Had a similar issue with my Mazda 5 TCM and they got it repaired and returned in no time. I did a quick search and came across the Mazda 3 TCM 2006-2014 repair page on their site:https://www.upfix.com/product/tcm-mazda-3-2006-2014-transmission-control-module-repair-tcm-tcu/
I’m a DIY but I had a reasonably good experience with Flagship One. First they shipped my PCM with the wrong VIN, but they took it back and fixed it. Prepare for a 1 month wait.
However, a programmed PCM refurb was only $194, so I would still use them again. My regular mechanic says he uses them too.
