OK I’m coming off the heat of the moment cause I’m pretty pissed at this.
So here’s the rundown. Janky, old prius is driving next to me. Bro is slow, obviously, and I drive at my normal pace which is slightly faster than average but still not excessive. I wasn’t even speeding. Then my heart sinks as I see police lights right behind me and I’m thinking, “fuck… no way.” I slow down and start to signal left cuz I think I’m being pulled over. I get a closer look and the god damn prius has fake police lights in their windshield and uses me slowing down to cut me off. I’ve never seen this before but i just want to share how stupid that was. I know I got played there but I’ve never heard of this. Are people really like this?
Could also be a firefighter’s personal vehicle.
When I was younger my car was rigged up, but I never screwed with anyone with it.
Coworker had a Prius. Passed him with my BMW K1300 on the way to work. He lectured me about how fast I did it. I was in second gear.
yea i met someone at a party who proudly said does this in his crown vic police cruiser. you can just get police lights for like 30 an amazon and strap them in anything.
I’m sorry dude but that’s incredibly fucking funny
You should report that.
That’s a felony for them. Call it in.
Might not be fake. Some departments actually use Prius’s. I’ve seen some around NYC.
Just code in euro hazard warnblinkers to give them a taste of their own medicine, and double strobe every slow train to Manchuria, they literally get out of your way because they think you’re part of the constabulary.
Also I’m sure ghost PD cars exist. Could have been an undercover.
I wouldn’t just report it, I would get the license plate and call 911. Say they’re trying to pull people over. That will get police there in a hurry!!!

Had this happen to me. I started chasing them once I figured it out. They were freaking out trying to get away from me.
