I just got my first BMW, 2017 330i and have been super impressed with the features and drive. You could definitely get a newer year, but if budget is a factor, you can get one used BMW for great prices rn!

M3, M340i, and technically the X6 is smaller and sportier if you still want a crossover and want to downsize.

Legit that’s one of the most solid BMWs that are out there currently. Keep it. Drive the wheels off it.

Mazda

I don’t buy anything made after 2010. I own an E39 now and if I had kids, after they dipped i’m keeping it and adding an E31 to my collection.

F10 m5

No kids? Maybe it’s time for a coupé. The 2 and 4 series cars look great and are so fun to drive. If you want a little more space then get a 3 or 5 series.

X4 M40i, had the B58, fun fast, if you don’t need the extra room and also dig the coupe suv look go for it!
