Detroit Three's South Korean partners are reportedly getting nervous because of substantial wage increases the UAW demands for U.S. battery plant workers.
So many articles blaming UAW and “low demand”. It sounds like the big three are trying to get the government to delay EV adoption deadline again. Same crap they pulled in California with GM’s EV1. These guys are the worse.
I think they’re actually worried about demand. As inventory levels recover to normal, EVs are taking twice as long as gas cars to sell (days on hand). Tesla even had a bad quarter.
I don’t think it’s at all the fault of the UAW given to date none of them are unionized to my knowledge.
