If anyone is curious why this is massively exaggerated, Tom Scott did a very good video on the subject. It’s not entirely accurate, as video and photo compression does different, but anyone who has ever used both an OLED and an LCD will almost certainly be questioning the accuracy.
Do you have The Binding of Isaac? If so could you share some photos of in game? 👉👈
marvel Vs capcom 2 ultimate on my vita with oled is one of the best looking games i have seen for a long time, oled is so much better in person
Besides the screen and battery, are there any performance gains with the OLED that make it worth picking up over the standard?
Your fps will be more stable overall but don’t expect leaps like going from 45 to 60fps
Genuine question: will there be 3rd party (ifixit) parts such as the OLED screen? It looks like you could upgrade the old model with a new screen to utilize more of the display.
This sold me ngl. I hate u
Black OLEDs Matter
Believe it or not the game is identical on both devices. Wild.
Vibrancy and contrast between both consoles are different. I know. Wild.

Lowkey it’s nice for games where you have to search for items in the dark 😅 I always set my Gama waaay high so I can see stuff
Bro you didn’t have to do this to us.
i fell like the LCDs brightness is turned way up in this picture, while the OLEDs is turned down… we already know, the OLED is brighter… so…
Nope, that’s not how it works. Both are max brightness. The camera makes things seem a little worse though.
Ok it’s official I’m selling everything and getting OLED
I love my LCD Deck but I totally understand the hype behind OLED. Those blacks are BLACK.
Stupid question, but which one is which?
top is LCD the bottom one is OLED
