So ive bought all the parts to manual swap my E46, the manual transmission is easily liftable but im not sure how to move the heavier automatic transmission (zf5hp19) onto a car trunk for disposal. for those with some experience in this regard, will I need hulk strength or is it possible to lift it?
If you’re by yourself… I’d say go ahead and get ANGRY. Or improvise and you can make it happen… a little harder to get it out… me personally I would just take it apart gives you a better knowledge of the “way things work” & it’s also much easier to move.
i can only get as far as the torque converter. that particular trans is not rebuildable sadly.
nah… a bit messy but its easy to disassemble.
