How long does it take for brake service ?

My car is manual Honda jazz 2006.

I booked an appointment for brake service with my local garage and they booked an appointment last Friday. First thing in the morning on Friday I took my car to the garage at 9 am. At the end of the day around 5:30 pm, they told me it needs all 4 brake pads changed, front two brake discs and rear right brake caliper changed. They said they dont have the parts and the parts will arrive on Monday. It’s almost 2 pm and heard nothing from them. I feel like they are treating me like a prat.

Does it take this long ? For context I live in London UK.

Can’t control when the parts show up, it’s gotta go from the supplier, to a truck, to the parts store, and then to us. Shit happens.
