despite being owned by a state with which the UK has many interests economically will it be one of the cases that might go unpunished?

    Juventus got that for straight-up match-fixing. I can see City getting more than a slap on the wrist if proven guilty but expulsion sounds more than unlikely.

          Well I mean, as a City fan, you kinda will be right behind us. It’s all financial breaches. Let’s not let Liverpool, Man United and Arsenal fans try and bring us down though. Even if they are all such wonderful utopia clubs who have never done anything wrong.
