Zidane is a unique player. I have never seen a player be so elegant while being big and strong (there’s Kanu and Ibra but both are strikers and didn’t do what Zidane did). And he used his body and strength with his exceptional ball control skills . No one could get the ball off him . That generation had players who could hold the ball and control the game around them. Riqueleme was another of a similar type and Jay Jay Okocha when he’s in the mood. It’s amazing to think that France had Zidane, Viera and Petit manning the midfield at one point . Imagine trying out muscle those guys
