It’s about the player, not the role. Point being Zidane’s technique and style is completely unique.

Only on his team. Just like Messi now- the last of his kind but he gets accommodated for because of how great he is. There is no one in serious professional football who tracks so little as Messi does. But because he can produce magic when he gets the ball he is tolerated.
