I’m planning to upgrade to the Oled steam deck but I have a lot of custom faceplates and backplates, will they be compatible with the newer version?

They are compatible.
Attached photo. Screw holes are the same location. I didn’t screw it in just fit together with clips so I didn’t check if screw depth is same.

ok so i have the purple jsaux with the metal plate and no vent hole for the fan, it fits but the metal plate and pad is not compatible. the metal plate on the oled version is not flat and the thermal pad does not sit flush. besides that everything clips together fine.
because of the thermal pad i do see very slight bulge where it is supposed to contact the metal plate.
