2014 ford fiesta se 1.6l 4 cylinder.

My car has died multiple times now over the course of a few days, and a few repairs I have done. Here they are listed;

1.) New starter, was stuck open but I got that taken care of.

2.) New throttle body.

3.) New battery, last one was old and leaking and always corroded.

4.) New negative battery cable, different style, I used the old one yesterday and everything was fine but now I have the different style on there.

Now I woke up and my car wouldn’t start, so I used my Dad’s old battery charger and the battery either won’t charge, or won’t hold the charge long enough for me to start the car. I thought it might be the alternator but I am probably wrong. While using the charger, I used my volt meter to check the battery, and the charger said that it was charging the battery but the volt meter said it was not at all. Any help at all is greatly appreciated!

    Disconnect the alternator cable that goes to the battery, see if it starts with a freshly charged battery.
