Hello! I purchased the Oled version Thursday, planning to play a lot during Holidays if I got it in time. There’s two AAA games that I want to play on it, locally, FFVII Remake Intergrade and Cyberpunk DLC. I know those games can be run on the Deck but I wonder if it would be better to stream them from my gaming PC (Ryzen 5 7600, 4070, 32gb) than running them on the device? Thanks a lot!
Yes. Most of the time for a brand new game I’ll just buy on my PS5 and remote play. I play a lot of older games and indies games natively on the Steam Deck. Both Cyberpunk and FFVIIR work great on the Steam deck but your overall fps and resolution and battery life will be MUCH higher streaming.
