So I live in an apartment complex currently, and I bought a tune for my audi Q5. I also just bought a battery charger since I don’t want to risk messing up my ECU.

I for some reason figured I’d be able to charge the battery charger, unplug it after some time, then just use it portably. I was wrong. It needs to be plugged in to use.

So if you were in my shoes, where would you flash your ECU? Are there known places that have power outlets near places to park?

    Wait….

So you just paid probably $500 to tune a naturally aspirated car?

That is the biggest single waste of money on a car unless you have supporting mods (injectors, forced induction, nos, maybe exhaust, etc).

A naturally aspirated tune will get you, what, 25 horsepower?

    They got you good.

You are making a ton of assumptions.

First off - my car is supercharged. It’s the 3.0t, not naturally aspirated.

Secondly, where are you getting pricing from?

Thirdly - it’s good for a 140hp increase. The 3.0t supercharged used in many audio has tunes from several different vendors that are capable of 400+ hp. IE, the one I went with, is 415
