Just wanted to share this along. In a response to a tweet, Lawrence Yang has confirmed that Steam Deck OLED orders would be shipped out from their warehouses within 1-3 days.

Ordered mine at 1am this morning UK, it said estimated delivery date 6-10 days, I’ll keep anything updated for the UK hopefulls so far it just says payment processed at 3:30pm so probably not going to be sent out today at all, I think my nearest centre is in the Netherlands so hopefully it’s not going to be stuck in customs

even amazon UK free economy delivery is better than this, i’ve escalated this to customer service and will be requesting a refund, i don’t see why i should have to any further while others get theirs in 3-4 days

Ordered 3 days ago, still pending pickup from carrier. I’m crossing my fingers that “packaged items” means that it’s actually packaged and waiting for the carrier and not corporate slight-of-hand for ‘out of stock’.

Update I just received my Steam Deck OLED 512Gb. I was coming home from work, when I spotted the UPS truck at a restaurant in my town. I sat outside and waited for him to finish eating and caught him coming out and got my package. I’m very impressed with VALVe’s fast shipping. I hope everyone else gets theirs quickly as well.

Ordered at launch day but still not shipped. From Germany 😟 so much for ready to ship. I also wonder… why don’t they just pre package them? What’s there to package for something you’re just releasing? I wonder how logistics work for this kind of stuff

Shipping out isn’t delivery, it’s when it leaves the warehouse. Add 1-5 more days depending on where you live.
