He has been extremely mediocre except for one or two games. If his name and transfer value was Lokonga, he wouldn’t see 1/3rd of the playing time and would be shipped in January.
I was actually hyped by this transfer, was looking forward to it and have nothing against the guy. But sometimes Edu and Arteta make mistakes and this one looks like a huge one. You just have to watch the matches and see these stats to understand that he’s just another body on the pitch that pretty much contributes nothing. In fact you’d be hard pressed to find another player in the squad who’d contribute less in that position.
