    No I think they are disillusioned and aren’t understanding what they are supposed to be doing. There also seems to have been zero consideration in the expensive player acquisitions over various managers to getting both a balanced squad and identifying players with the right ethos and personality. Which is something a lot of big clubs do as they seek players who are dedicated and care more about improving as players than partying or hanging out with celebrities.

    Take Liverpool, for example. It isn’t a coincidence how so many of the players have spouses or long-term partners and children. Odds are greatly increased on them being mature and responsible.
